Josu grinned and shrugged. "I havn't been here since... since you left." I'm not sure how popular this place has gotten." She looked around at the few people in the restaraunt and thought that the Ewok's Hangout had possibly become less popular then it originally been ~~ Tallia calmly scooped the green substance into her mouth and grinned. This was her usual dish and she was very comfortable eating it. She wasn't sure about Michael, however.

Jaden kept facing her and scanned the place with his eyes. She was right, this place had been at the peek of capacity every time they came to eat. "The place is still top notch, but..." Jaden then saw something, though a simple thing, rather disturbing. "I know...I know a year is a long time, but since when does Jaquell wear a blast vest and take longer than 10 minutes to get our order?" The restaurant was always peaceful, so why the vest, and in the old days, it really only took Jaquell to bring them their meals in a heartbeat, something was off. --- Michael noticed Tallia's grin, he'd been dooped. He picked up his spoon and took a scoop of the same green goo and quickly dropped it on his tongue...it tasted like a mixture of brussle sprouts and a ton of lemon juice blended up, his face reflexively shuddered. He would make note, don't challenge a Jedi, when you're practically a youngling in comparison, especially when its Tallia.

Josu glanced at Jaquell through the serving window. Something was wrong. Along with the blast vestshe was wearing, she seemed to be talking to herself, or someone else, either way she didn't agree with what was going on. Shakling her head was surely a big sign of that. "I have a bad feeling about this." ((XD))

Jaden smirked as Jaquell came around, then quickly faded as he saw her dim look, sweat gleaming on her forehead. "You just had to say that didn't you." Jaden kept his posture as Jaquell lade his sizziling steak in front of him, the smell erupted in his nostrils, forcing saliva to fill his mouth. Jaquell put down her soup as well, he could smell its aroma as well. Both shared something...similar...oh shit. Jaden looked up at Jaquell, she was definitely worried about something. He winked at her and looked at Josu. "Being a gentleman," He smiled emotionless, hoping she'd notice. "I'll check if the food is still the same."

Josu waited untill Jaq was out of ear-shot before speaking under her breath, "She's off." Josu felt gingerly twords the kitchen so as not to alert anyone of her presence, "Someone's in there that isn't supposed to be."

Jaden took a bite from his steak, warm succulent flavor erupted in his mouth. "Seems a little undercooked, better get the cook to check these." Without a word to her he took her soup and his steak and moved to the kitchen. "Hey Cook!" He called, foods a little under...cooked..." The food slid from his hands and crashed onto the floor. He stumbled to steps before collapsing in front of the kitchen door. As his body hit the ground, 3 aliens, Annoo Dat's, emerged from the kitchen brandishing blasters. The one in front grabbed Jaden from his robes collar, "Nobody move!" It hissed. "We're taking the Jedi!"

Josu quickly stood to help her friend as he fell to the ground but was a tad late. Jaden was grabbed up by his robes by a reptilian form. "Nobody move!" It hissed. "We're taking the Jedi!" Josu narrowed her eyes and focused on the Anoo Dat's four eyes. "You don't want to take him." She had to try anything. Jaden wasn't going to dissappear again. Her right hand twitched unconciously for her lightsaber.

The alien chuckled in hissing manner. "At the price on HIS head, we REALLY want him." The people in the diner started to leave. The group of Bounty Hunters had their guns fixed on Josu. Jaden was hauled onto the shoulders of one of the aliens, Jaden was as light as a feather to this one. "But then again we do value our lives, and I'm sure you value his, so don't think I won't hesitate to shoot him in the head." He jabbed Jaden in the head with his blaster to make a point.

Josu shed her robe and put it on her chair, making a point to show the lightsaber at her side. "Are you sure?" She felt the anger insifde her building and she ran her tongue over her teeth to distract herself at least a little bit. Hands on her hips she turns back to the alien Bounty Hunter, "'Cause uh... He's my Padawan, and like a mother, I don't like it when someone hurts my children." Josu could feel the force around Jaden stiring. Was he waking up already? That thought drove her to her next action, she pushed up the gun at Jaden's head with the force and rushed forward (force run) punhcing the one who held her padawan in the gut. She caught Jaden just before he hit the ground and readied herself for the iminent fight.

The lead bounty hunter hissed as his catch was taken. "BRING HER OUTSSS!" Suddenly a 4th bounty hunter came out of the kitchen with Jaquell wrapped in his long arms, holding death grip grenades. If he let go of the grenades, they'd atomize everyone, Josu may be able to get them out in time, alive, but not Jaquell. Jaquell whimpered and cried, tears flowed. "Now even FLINCH LIKE that again and we go boom! Don't hand him over we go boom! TAKE to long to decide, and we go BOOM!" The larger alien roared. There was tension, then in an instant all felt still, like the pressure in the room had doubled. Jaden's head rose slowly, his face full of rage, "Now that we're all here..." his voice snarled. In a single move, he stood to his feet, shed his cloak, and drew his light saber. Raising his left hand in a grip, he grabbed the new comers hands with the force and thrusted them high above his head. The force pressure from Jaden slowed their movements. The hands holding the grenades began to flatten and crack, Jaden's actions were fierce, the alien cried in pain, he then pulled him forward, Jaquell included. She gave a high "YEEP!" as she was thrown into Josu's arms. And in a final swipe, Jaden's lightsaber flashed alive as he stood in a forward stance. The bounty hunters arms now fell to the ground, grenades in hand now cemented into a firm grip that would not release the grenades, rendering them useless. Jaden in a split second had placed himself in front of Josu and Jaquell, his lightsaber's dazzled with lightning like arcs of blue and green. Jaden growled, "Next?"

Michael felt royally sick to his stomach. "I can't believe I got myself to eat all that...ulp...stuff." He was fine as far as holding his stomach, but some of the food was causing some irregular rumbling in his stomach. He was walking out of the cafeteria with Talia. She was teasing him about the food, well deserved. He was still curious about Jaden, whom she seemed a little...hostile to. "Excuse me, master Talia?" He walked parallel to her. "I hope its not to impolite, but could you tell me why you're angry with Master...I mean, Jaden?"

Josu just watched as the bounty hunters grabbed out their blasters and aimed at Jaden, "Jaq, stay under the table." Jaquell obayed and crawled under the table, shaking. Josu stood and reignited her lightsaber, "Jaden, you should sit back and guard Jaquell." As she spoke, Josu kept and eye on the four Anoo Dats. There was a ferocity in Jaden that Josu did not like at all. He needed to sit this one out and cool down. --------------- "Excuse me, master Talia?" Tallia smiled at the padawan walking next to her, "Yup?" "I hope its not to impolite, but could you tell me why you're angry with Master...I mean, Jaden?" Tallia looked Michael square in the eye as she walked, narrowly missing another jedi but weaving just in time to avoid a collision, like a dancer. Her brown eyes were fierce but unfocused, "It's a long story. I just don't trust him." She turned away as a small grin crossed her lips. Indirect answers were the best.

Michael cocked an eyebrow, "I thought trust was a given amongst Jedi." Michael had known all Jedi to be loyal and "trust" worthy. Michael slightly caught that smile, she was hiding something, fuck shit she was teasing him. "Ok, so how about a different question, 'What did he do?" --- Jaden felt anger bottled up in his head, his friend was used as a way to get to him, was it them again? "Jaden, you should sit back and guard Jaquell." Jaden remembered what he had told Josu a while back, that he had "it" under control, and he did. "No, you get Jaq out of here." He forgot that she was his master now. The aliens opened fire, Jaden focused and his peripheral vision widened, he swung both of his light sabers in a figure eight pattern, his saber hummed and sparked as blaster rounds were deflected to his left and right. A lesson popped in his head from Master Drasoft, "Look for the opening..." Jaden saw the blasters pattern of fire, he could read it like a poem. THERE! He pushed both hands forward and channeled the force from his arms condensed in front of him, and shot out a shockwave that launched the bounty hunters into the kitchen. They had a break. "They're after me! I can handle it, get her to safety," he could understand her caution, "I won't go far, promise."

Josu took advantage of the brief time they had and grabbed the front of Jaden's clothes, jerking him to face her, "Get Jaquell out of here now Padawan!" Josu made sure to put just the right amount of sternness into her voice that Jaden had to obey. Just the tone that Master Malin would use during instructions when the boys wouldn't settle themselves. Oh, how long ago it seemed... She let go of Jaden's clothes and turned to deflect blaster shots just now emanating from the kitchen. The shots were sent back to their owners blasters and frying their hands or rendering the gun itself useless. ~~~~~~~ Tallia looked at Michael thoughtfully, "You really want to know?" She didn't wait for an answer, instead, she lead him through many different hallways and eventually through a door leading to a courtyard. At this time of day Most of the others have retreated to their studies or to the confines of their rooms to meditate. Tallia walked almost deliberately towards the center of the courtyard where a lone cherry blossom tree stood. The Zabrak touched the bark of the tree for a smiling second before making herself comfortable.

Jaden choked on a curse he wished to blurt out, but Josu was so stubborn the only way he could get his way is if he threw them both out of the restaurant, clearly an option not even worth thinking about. He turned to Jaquell and holstered his left lightsaber, grabbing her he quickly deflected 3 blasts that came his way, "Just be careful, there may be more of them!" Focusing the force in his legs in a single bound he launched both him and Jaquell out the window, a force barrier Jaden placed in front of them protected them from the blast. Continuing his flee, his feet darted him in long yet quick dashes down the street to an open crowd. He set Jaquell on the floor, she was stunned and in shock, he looked for one of the other waitresses from the restaurant, picking one out of the crowd he shouted as he turned around, "Stay with her, I got to go help..." Jaden was interrupted as a loud explosion shot flames out of the side window of the restaurant. Jaden reflexively bounded back to aid his Master, his friend... --- Michael studied the cheery blossom tree, it stood tall and its branches were bountiful of full blossoms, beautiful he thought. There was a boulder half buried in the long grass and soil, Michael sat on the boulder facing Tallia, he folded his arms as he awaited a story he probably regret learning.
